ANSWERED RFI: 1.  Please provide location, material, & line size of existing domestic cold water piping.  Answer - Assume that a 3/4" cold water line is available at the existing restroom location.

2.  Please provide location & line size of existing sanitary sewer lines. Answer - Assume that a 4" sanitary sewer line exists at the existing restroom location.

3.  Please provide location of existing hot water heater. Answer -  Install new 4 gallon point of use hot water heater at new restroom.

4.  If available, please provide as-built drawings for new warehouse lease space. Answer - None available.

5.  Please provide details of warehouse lease space concrete floor. Answer - Assume 6" 4,000 PSI concrete floor slab.

6.  Please provide location of existing power panels and available circuits for new HVAC unit wiring. Answer - Assume 480vac, 3 phase incoming service at exterior wall where zones 3 and 5 intersect.
ANSWERED RFI: Question1. What documents will be required for the design of the climate controlled system in area 3? What is the space going to be used for, i.e. will there be any type of heat producing equipment in the space. Answer - Load Calculations as required by ASHRAE current edition.  No heat but existing lighting.

Question 2. Will the government require any design documents for the plumbing system to serve the unisex restroom restroom?  Provide design drawing for new restroom for information. 

Answer - Restroom shall comply with current NC Building codes and ADA requirements. 

ANSWERED RFI: Question 1. C & H Distributors indicated that it will take up to 4 weeks to have the shelving referenced in the RFI dated 9/17/2009, Answered Question #4 delivered to the new site. This delay will potentially extend the project past the 28 Day project duration. How would you like us to proceed? Answer - Proceed with procurement of shelving.  Store equipment on the floor surface on pallets.  If shelves do not arrive prior to the 28 days, then install the shelving after the 28 days and relocate pallets of equipment to the shelves.
 
Question 2. Does the new shelving referenced in the RFI dated 9/17/2009, Answered Question 4 and Sheet 5 of 5 consist of one continuous run of seven bays or seven individual stand alone bays? Answer - The shelving shall be one continuous run of seven bays consisting of three shelves high for storage.
 
Question 3. What type of wall bracing will be required for the 2" x 4" x 8' wood stud walls referenced in 3.3.1.1 of the scope of work? Answer - Wall bracing shall meet NC Building codes.

ANSWER: 2 voice / 2 data

 
Question 2)          Where is the TTB/Cabinet intended to be located?
ANSWER: On the proposed separation wall in vicinity of loading dock.
 

Question 3)          Where does the existing outside plant tel/com enter the new building?
ANSWER: Unknown.
 

Question 4)          Is there any outside warehouse tel/com scope?
