ANSWERED RFI: Question: On Plan M-401, the Sequence of Operation is calling for a Bacnet compatible unit controller & a Programmable T-stat.  Fact: Building 4224 has
N2 Controls in it and is not a Bacnet Building.
Do the Packaged Heat Pump Units need to be controlled by the Metasys N2 EMCS
or should the units have stand alone controls & a programmable T-stat?
Answer: The HVAC units are less than 5-ton capacity, therefore we do not intend to connect to the Metasys EMCS.  Units are controlled by stand-alone programmable t'stats.
ANSWERED RFI: Question:What is the name brand of the existing addressable fire alarm control panel?

Are their existing devices closes by that can be intercepted? If so how far away?

If not, how far is the existing addressable fire alarm control panel located?

Sheet E-201 First Floor Lighting Plan, there is a symbol recessed in the wall next to the door entry leading out to the stairway. What is it?

Answer: Existing fire alarm panel is located in the Lobby of Bldg. 4224.  System is a Simplex 4002, Non-Addressible Fire Alarm system.  Existing devices to be intercepted include the pull station by the exit door we are blocking with this addition, plus several horn/strobe devices on the inside of the existing building exterior wall.

Device shown on the wall on Sheet E-201 is labeled as an "FEC" and should be a new fire alarm pull station.
"FEC" is actually a Fire Extinguisher Cabinet.
