Answered RFI:
Question 1)VMA-542 Door notes 5, 6, 7, & 12 Say to remove the existing doors and
install new doors . The spec sections that are attached to the notes all say
to remove the doors and frames .  After looking at these areas most of the
frames are in pretty good shape. Should we plan to remove doors and frames
or doors only ?

Answer 1) As for the doors and frames as referenced below, Just follow the
specifications and replace doors and frames as listed.

Question 2) VMA - 542 west entrance ( at note 12) There is an existing Tigers emblem
inlaid with VCT at the door should this be left in place or replaced ?

Answer 2) For the tiger inlayed emblem and black border that surrounds the emblem.
Just retile up to black border only. Do not replace emblem or black border.

Answered RFI: Question: Section 01 90 00, para 2.9.1 of the project scope refers to concrete wall
patching to be done on this project.  We are unable to quantify the area
involved or find a note to support this work on the drawings.
Could  you clarify the scope of work involved ?

Answer: The concrete patching is on sheet A-1 under VMA-223 Notes. Note A. See spec.
section 1.5.1 Just small amount of patching has to be done in these 4 rooms.

Answered RFI: Question:  Reviewing the specification for Section 09911, para. 3.1.7 Traffic Markings
refers to approximately 5,000 square feet of previous traffic markings to be
remarked.  We wish to confirm the amount is correct and that they do mean
square feet and not lineal feet also.  We have pictures taken from the site
visit from our Tennant rep and there does not appear to be much traffic
markings.I s it SF or LF?  Markings in building are about 4" wide, thus SF would
translate to 15,000 LF which appears to be overkill compared to existing
markings.

Answer: IT SHOULD HAVE READ 5000 LINEAR FEET.
